Casa Escondida

When you don’t want to be found

A jungle retreat designed for rest, ritual, and a little rebellion

The brief:
Create a private retreat that doesn't announce itself.
What we developed was a full concept - identity, spatial language, material palette
and brand voice - built around the idea of earned stillness.

Hidden above Playa Hermosa, Casa Escondida is designed to feel discovered, not delivered.

The house sits gently in the jungle - rammed earth, curved concrete, blackened steel. Its forms follow the land. Its colours belong to the jungle.

This is a place to slow down. To disappear for a while.

No noise. No expectations. Just shadow, warmth, ritual, and rest.

Every detail holds a reason.

Curved lines. Honest materials. Nothing extra.

Walls that breathe. Light that shifts. Design you move through - not think about.

Stillness with a pulse.

The brand identity carries the same rhythm: hand-drawn, raw, and a little off-centre.

The mark echoes palm leaves and sunbursts - imperfect on purpose.

Spectral adds structure. The pink adds mischief.

The palette is earthy, but not dry. Tropical, but never bright. .There’s depth in every shot - not just in light, but in temperature, grain, and stillness.
